CHESHIRE'S OWN HONEY BEE COOPERATIVE.
We are a small group of beekeepers based in Mid Cheshire. Our passion is beekeeping and we are committed to helping others into the wonderful world of beekeeping.
Our aim is to help new and existing beekeepers with gentle and easily managed Bees, aimed specifically to meet the needs of the Modern Hobbyist / Urban Beekeeper.
We select primarily on Temperament, Manageability, Swarming Tendency, Disease Resistance and Hygienic Behavior.
Our aim is to breed and continually improve good gentle bees that are a pleasure to manage no matter what your experience is.
A NUC is often preferred by new and seasoned beekeepers and there are several good reasons.
Unpredictable spring weather is one of them.
A good NUC will give your bees a head start to the season and offer more confidence to a beekeeper than a package.
A package of bees will still do quite well in the spring but early spring success requires more attention and a little luck.

Please contact us for Availability using the form on the contact page. We will get back to you as soon as we can.
Working with honey bees is not like baking a cake, you can't set the timer for a certain time, our bees are programmed to a large extent by the weather but other factors play a big part. Please be patient if you order is not filled on the day you expect.
All orders are filled on a first come, FIRST served basis. We will not post Nuc's out to you, but we will work with you to find the best time for you to collect them.
We will be in constant contact with you to keep you updated, but we will only release the bees when we feel it is right for them, after all they are the important ones.
When you are ready to order send us an e-mail and we can then organise the availability date. We will arrange a collection date convenient for both of us.
